Amazon.com
The Equus 3110 Innova Diagnostic Code Scanner offers an easy, effective way to troubleshoot OBD II vehicles. This powerful and rugged tool quickly reveals the cause of “Check Engine” light warnings on any 1996 and newer car, light truck, or SUV–foreign and domestic. A large display makes it easy to see what your car is trying to tell you. Easily diagnose your vehicle’s trouble codes. See product details. The tool features a unique, patented all-in-one screen display and an LED display for quick emissions status checks. Meanwhile, the 3110’s automatic refresh updates data every 30 seconds when connected to the vehicle, offering an easy way to verify repair completion. The device easily retrieves OBD II Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), including generic codes (P0, P2, P3, and U0) and manufacturer specific codes (P1, P3, and U1). The 3110 communicates with all OBD II protocols, including CAN (Controller Area Network), ISO 9141, J1850PWM, J1850VPW, and KWP 2000 ISO 14230-4. Adding to the 3110’s ease of use, the display offers on-screen code definitions and you can view freeze frame data, which provides a “snapshot” of the vehicle’s operating conditions at the time of the fault. The 3110’s menu system allows you to set the interface to display trouble codes and definitions in English, Spanish, and French. An internal battery stores the latest test results for later review and analysis, and to accommodate future vehicles, the tool is fully upgradeable via a standard Windows-based PC. Equus’ OBD-PC Link software is included with the tool, making upgrades a snap. Manufacturer Warranty One-year limited warranty. Money Saver!
You will learn that half of the codes you get on most vehicles are temporary and/or bogus. This thing will let you see what the code is (and write it down), then you can erase…

Great tool for annoying “Check Engine Light!!”
This scanner works fast and anyone could use it. I’ve had problems with my gas cap not sealing and then the Check Engine Light comes on.

    The perfect diagnostic scanner
    I drive a 1 ton truck professionally – a 2006 Ford F-350 – pulling RV’s from manufacturer to dealer.

    The best price.
After much searching and comparing prices, once again Amazon came through with the best price. They even bettered my local brick and mortar shops.

    Works as it should
Simple review here: this works as it should, comes in handy if you have an older car that gets “check engine” lights often, but at over $100, it is pretty expensive.
